Business Aviation (props and jets), departures from the UK and other selected European countries between 1st April and June 10th

These charts show that the recovery trend (7-day rolling average daily activity) has been recovering faster for business aviation (blue, left axis) than for scheduled aviation (black, right axis) in all the top European countries with the following distinctions

  • Germany and France have recovered fast since mid-May, are the busiest markets in Europe (EG Germany average daily business aviation departures = 200, as of 10th June)
  • Switzerland and Austria are also heading in the right direction, the latter seeing a recent surge
  • The UK has had some recovery, now dropping off due to quarantine (see more below)

Spain´s recovery has so far been very shallow (same is true for Italy)
