London – 17th April 2018: London Biggin Hill is celebrating being the first UK airport to host Bombardier’s highly anticipated Global 7000, as part of the aircraft’s world tour demonstrating its extended range capabilities and state-of-the-art living spaces.

A series of developments makes London Biggin Hill Airport the go-to for the Global 7000. The airport’s new 60,000 sq. ft hangar has been designed to accommodate up to six business jets of the Global 7000’s size. In addition, Bombardier has doubled its capacity on site, with an expanded service centre and the addition of more than 70 technicians.

Andy Patsalides, marketing manager, London Biggin Hill Airport, says: “The Global 7000 is set to revolutionise business travel, opening up more airport pairings for business jet users than ever before. London Biggin Hill has extended operating hours and no runway slot restrictions, which makes us perfectly positioned to support those flying from further abroad. With a baseline range capability of 7,700 nautical miles, we’re looking forward to welcoming Global 7000s from as far as Los Angeles, Singapore, Sao Paulo and Cape Town.”
