London – 5 August 2021: London Biggin Hill Airport has appointed Tim Snook as its new sustainability and environment specialist.

Tim will report to the airport’s head of corporate social responsibility and sustainability, Colin Hitchins. His appointment demonstrates London Biggin Hill Airport’s continued work towards becoming sustainable and achieving carbon neutral status by 2029, in accordance with the ACI Europe Airport Carbon Accreditation scheme.

Tim, an MSc in Sustainable Development, has a passion for the environment and sustainability. This has led him to pursue a career in the aviation industry as he believes that it has great potential in being an avenue in which to enact meaningful positive environmental change. 

Colin Hitchins says: “I am delighted to welcome Tim, who will spearhead several initiatives that will assist us in reaching our vision for the airport’s future, and ensure we continue London Biggin Hill Airport’s passion and commitment to developing the airport in an environmentally sustainable way.”
