A unique marketing approach at the NBAA 2018 Schedulers & Dispatchers show in Long Beach, California earlier this year is already proving very beneficial for the team at Harrods Aviation in London, UK.
Exhibiting at this show is always a bit different to other shows, as Sales & Marketing Director Will Holroyd explains, ‘there is always a relaxed air at this show, and we saw this as an opportunity to have a bit of fun and celebrate our quintessentially British history!’
Holroyd continues, ‘this proved really popular in attracting customers to our stand in the Air Elite row, who wanted to know more about the “handsome chaps” (not my words!) in their dapper suits and to find out more about why Harrods Aviation claim to be so different to the competition.’
Now back in UK, customers have remembered the ‘dapper chaps’ and Harrods Aviation have already seen four brand new customers use the London based services already. Nothing beats face to face meetings, and S&D is a great opportunity for a relaxed, informal conversation for any organisation.
‘We learnt at the show that the Schedulers and Dispatchers most desire a swift response to enquiries, to know they are being taken care of and are being treated fairly.’ concludes Holroyd.
