LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce it has been approved by Klatt Works, Inc. as an Authorized Sales and Installation Center for the Smoke Assured Vision Enhanced Display (SAVED) mask, which utilizes augmented reality technology to provide a see-through display inside the oxygen mask, allowing pilots to safely navigate and land during a smoke-in-the-cockpit emergency.

“As a Maintenance and Refurbishment Organization, safety is always at the top of the list for the services and products we provide to our clients,” said Duncan Aviation Modifications Sales Manager Nate Klenke. “We are pleased to be selected as an authorized dealer and are now able to offer the SAVED product to our clients.”

Klatt Works CEO Nate Klatt says they are thrilled to welcome Duncan Aviation to the SAVED authorized reseller network.

“Their deep relationships across the business aviation community and their commitment to technical excellence make them a natural fit for bringing this capability to G550 operators,” he said. “Expanding access to SAVED through trusted partners like Duncan Aviation is how we advance our mission of giving every flight crew a fighting chance when it matters most.”

Developed by Klatt Works, SAVED greatly enhances safety during aircraft fires. In a smoke-in-the-cockpit emergency, SAVED’s see-through optics display flight data and nose camera video inside the pilot’s oxygen mask, helping pilots safely land the aircraft. SAVED is currently certified for installation on the Gulfstream G550 and is in the process of receiving FAA Supplemental Type Certification for the G650 and G450, with other popular business jet models to follow.
