The BHA are hosting their Annual Safety Day alongside Airbus and the CAA on Tuesday 28 May 2024 in the new DARTeC facility at Cranfield University.

The focus will be on tail rotor issues, there will be a case study and the science behind presented by Airbus Helicopters, followed by the Human Factors covering ‘Surprise and Startle’ by Cranfield University and lastly training for such emergencies by Merrick Forsyth, there will also be an opportunity for a Q&A with the CAA.

Cost for the day is £20 for BHA members and £30 for non-members (special package for non-members who join the BHA on the day), lunch and refreshments will be included.  Payment must be received before the day or entry will be refused. Your name must be on the attendee list so please advise us of any name change as soon as possible.

Places are limited to 100 attendees, and it will be on a first-come-first-served basis. There is plenty of free parking and a car pass must be displayed in your vehicle, you will receive this once payment has been made. There is also an option to fly in if required, normal landing fees will be applied.
