The Isle of Man Aircraft Registry (IOMAR), a longstanding client of Baines Simmons, part of the Air Partner group, has been named Best Global Aviation Registry for the second consecutive year at the World Commerce Review 2018 Awards. In addition, the Registry also took home the inaugural award for Most Recommended Global Aviation Registry.
While selecting this year’s award winners, the World Commerce Review panel took into account product innovation, on-going customer support and best practice criteria, as well as a continuing commitment to deploying the best possible solutions for the benefit of clients.
IOMAR is the second largest international business jet register in Europe and is known for providing award-winning levels of customer service and the highest standards of independent regulatory oversight. Baines Simmons, part of the Consulting & Training division of global aviation services group Air Partner, secured a 10-year contract to provide aviation support services to IOMAR in April 2016, and also assisted in designing, building and launching IOMAR on behalf of the Isle of Man Government in 2007.
Martyn Perkins MHK (Member of the House of Keys), Department Member at Isle of Man Government with responsibility for the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry, commented: “I am delighted that the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry has received Best Global Aviation Registry for the second year running, and even more so to receive the new award of Most Recommended Global Aviation Registry.
The IOMAR was established to provide a customer-focused service for the registration and subsequent safety regulation of high quality private and corporate jets and twin turbine-engine helicopters, and it’s encouraging to see recognition of this aim and its success today.”
Simon Williams, Director of Civil Aviation at Isle of Man Civil Aviation Administration and Aircraft Registry, commented: “The IOMAR team work extremely hard and are utterly dedicated to constantly improving our approach to facilitating high regulatory standards whilst delivering excellent customer service. This latest success belongs to the excellent team that I am fortunate enough to work with and they thoroughly deserve this positive endorsement for yet another year of dedicated professionalism and high standards. The excellent support that we receive from our key strategic partners at Baines Simmons Ltd plays a fundamental role in the ongoing success of IOMAR. I formally place on record my recognition and heartfelt thanks for their tireless dedication in support of the overall effort.”
We have so much more planned for the future and are passionate about incrementally raising standards of safety and regulation whilst providing the best possible support to our much-valued client base.”
Craig Simmonds, IOMAR Programme Manager for Baines Simmons, added: “Many congratulations to Simon and his team at IOMAR for their recognition by the World Commerce Review Awards yet again. We are delighted to still be working with the Registry after all these years and remain committed to providing the highest levels of support. I would also like to thank my team at Baines Simmons for their invaluable contribution; we look forward to continuing our successful partnership with IOMAR in 2018 and beyond.”
