BASEL, Switzerland / September 11, 2026 — Jet Aviation announced today that its president, Jeremie Caillet, was honored with the Lifetime Aviation Industry Leader Award at the fifth biennial European Living Legends of Aviation Awards ceremony held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in St. Wolfgang, Austria. The award was presented by Gulfstream President Mark Burns, a Living Legends of Aviation 2026 inductee and 2024 Lifetime Aviation Industry Leader. The extended event included an airshow, in addition to presentations on innovation and the future of mobility.

Presided over by Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman and hosted at scalaria, a conference and event resort on Lake Wolfgang, the Living Legends of Aviation Europe Awards bring together a community of entrepreneurs, innovators, industry leaders, astronauts, and pilots to celebrate achievements in leadership and innovation in aviation and aerospace. The Lifetime Aviation Industry Leader Award recognizes individuals whose sustained leadership has had a significant or transformative impact on the aviation industry — whether through strategic vision, operational excellence, or long-term influence.

With a career spanning aeronautical engineering, aerospace design, VIP completions, and global business aviation, Jeremie Caillet has consistently focused on inspiring excellence, accountability, and innovation, both in his team and across the industry.

Jeremie was appointed President of Jet Aviation in 2024. His journey with the company, however, began almost 20 years earlier, when he joined as Engineering Team Leader in 2008. He continued to grow and develop in the completions business, and in 2019 advanced to Vice President Completions. Under his leadership, the company drew on its pioneering past to continue pushing the boundaries of VIP cabins, redelivering some of the lightest, quietest, and most intricately crafted wide- and narrow-body interiors flying today.

In 2021, Jeremie was appointed Jet Aviation’s Senior Vice President Regional Operations EMEA, where he was responsible for driving operational efficiency and performance across Europe and the Middle East, and just two and a half years later, he was named President. On assuming this role, he remarked that it was a privilege to lead the company and the team he had spent so much of his career with, and who share his ambition of enabling global flight, with passion.

A native of France, Jeremie earned a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the École Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile in 2005, followed by a master’s degree in aircraft design from Linköping University in 2006. In addition to his role at Jet Aviation, he supports the growth and evolution of business aviation through various industry bodies and partnerships, in service of the customers and professionals of today, and tomorrow.

In September 2024, Jet Aviation’s longest-serving employee and lifelong company ambassador, Elie Zelouf, was inducted to the European Living Legends of Aviation. A 72-year veteran of the industry, Elie was recognized by Jeremie for the critical role he played in Jet Aviation’s growth over the years ¾ “not just in footprint, but also in its reputation for excellence, quality, and customer service” ¾ values recognized in Jeremie today.

Jet Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) with over 5,000 employees and 50 locations worldwide. Jet Aviation’s offerings include aircraft management, aircraft sales, charter, completions, government programs, FBO, maintenance and staffing.
