October 11, 2023 – HOUSTON – World Fuel Services (World Fuel) is delivering Sustainable Aviation Fuel
(SAF) to Las Vegas Valley airports, including Henderson Executive Airport (KHND) – the host airport for
this year’s National Business Association’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE),
North Las Vegas Airport (KVGT), and Atlantic Aviation at Harry Reid International Airport (KLAS). These
deliveries provide NBAA-BACE 2023 attendees access to the currently limited supply of SAF. Increasing
the accessibility of renewable fuels like SAF worldwide is a key tenet of World Fuel’s mission to enable
its customers and partners to decarbonize their operations.
World Fuel is set to supply SAF, sourced from World Energy’s refinery in Paramount, California. This
initiative extends World Fuel’s proven track record of delivering sustainable energy solutions to its
customers, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions. Since 2015, World Fuel has delivered
nearly 40 million gallons of SAF to business and commercial aviation customers worldwide.
“Expanding SAF supply to three locations during NBAA-BACE showcases our commitment to the growth
of SAF supply. We continue to offer solutions to help enable our customers’ journey to net zero and to
help the industry cut carbon emissions by 50%,” said Malcolm Hawkins, senior vice president, global
business aviation, World Fuel Services. “We have completely integrated sustainability options in our
