Geneva, 10 July 2020 –
Despite the challenging times faced by the business aviation industry due to Covid-19, TAG Aviation has expanded its European operation with the addition of three new aircraft into its fleet. A Bombardier Global 6500 and a Gulfstream IV SP are now available for charter, whilst a top of the line Gulfstream G500 has been added to its managed fleet, one of the first in Europe. Not only does the arrival of these state-of-the-art jets confirm TAG’s world leading position in private aviation, but it also allows its clients even more choice in executive travel to international destinations.
TAG’s new Global 6500 ultra long-range business jet, based in Paris le Bourget, offers an unrivalled combination of range, speed, smoothness, and roominess. Configured to carry 12 passengers and with a transatlantic range of over 6,600 NM, its performance and practicality are unequalled whilst its technologically advanced cabin and revolutionary Nuage seating make it extremely popular with long distance travellers who value their creature comforts. In addition, its latest HEPA air filtration system captures up to 99.99% of allergens, bacteria, and viruses.
TAG Aviation is also proud to announce the inclusion of a new Gulfstream G500 into its European managed fleet. Based in Geneva, it joins a comprehensive range of Gulfstreams under TAG management, all maintained and operated to the highest regulatory, safety and security standards. TAG’s unique experience with Gulfstream aircraft means that it can provide owners with a full array of individually tailored jet solutions.
For charter clients requiring transatlantic capability but without the immense range of the Global 6500, TAG’s new Gulfstream IV SP is the perfect answer. Its range of 4,200 NM still allows for flights from Europe to the east coast of America with a full passenger load of 12-14 onboard. Outfitted with high-thrust engines and particularly aerodynamic wings, the versatile IV SP is built for effortless take-offs and landings, resulting in the aircraft being able to access short runways and high-altitude airports.
Florent Sériès, TAG Aviation Europe’s Chief Commercial Officer, is delighted by the addition of these three aircraft. “Due to Covid-19, the last few months have been incredibly challenging for everyone at TAG, as well as for our clients. Thanks to the response from our dedicated teams, our customers never lost faith in us. As the skies are starting to open up, they are now returning to TAG for their private air travel. It is therefore particularly satisfying to be able to offer them even greater choice with the addition of these two exceptional new charter aircraft. The addition of the G500 to our managed fleet is a testament to our expertise and competitiveness in this field as well. My message to all our valued clients is that when flying really takes off again, a very warm welcome awaits them at TAG!”
As a result of Covid-19, TAG Aviation has implemented some of the most rigorous health and safety regimes in the industry. Naturally, due to the ever-changing global situation and countries’ varying regulations, TAG is constantly reviewing and improving its hygiene measures. The protection of its clients and personnel remains its number one priority. For those who are still unsure of current guidelines and policies or would simply like some advice on potential travel plans, TAG’s client service and charter teams are on hand to help 24/7. Meanwhile, customers interested in booking tailored executive charters on its two new aircraft should contact TAG Aviation Charter Services for full details of availability and prices.
