With environmental concerns very much at the heart of TAG Aviation’s business philosophy, the company is proud to announce its partnership with climate and sustainable development experts, ClimateCare. This initiative will provide TAG clients with the option of offsetting emissions generated by their private aviation journeys and charter flights.
Whilst every effort is made by TAG to minimise its carbon footprint, emissions from the aircraft it operates are inevitable. However, thanks to the new partnership, these can be offset through ClimateCare projects, including world-leading clean cooking projects in Bangladesh, safe water filters in Kenya, and renewable energy facilities in India. These initiatives not only cut carbon emissions and help tackle climate change, but also improve lives by reducing fuel bills for families in the case of clean cooking and reducing exposure to toxic fumes from fossil fuel power plants in the case of renewable energy provision.
Steven Young, TAG Aviation’s Group Executive Director, announces: “TAG Aviation is privileged to collaborate with Climate Care, a leading global provider of carbon offset programs that are both innovative and impactful. TAG Aviation recognises its role as a responsible corporate citizen and is committed to contributing its part in protecting and sustaining the delicate environment mother nature has graciously gifted us. We are honored to join the global community to save our planet for our future generations.”
ClimateCare’s Director of Partnerships, Robert Stevens explains: “We work with forward-thinking organisations to turn their climate responsibilities into positive outcomes. Our trademark Climate+Care approach helps organisations take a smart pathway to addressing their environmental impacts by offsetting their carbon emissions through projects which also support sustainable development.”
