London – 18 March 2021: London Biggin Hill Airport is today breaking ground for its new on-site, 4-star boutique hotel, The Landing.

The 56-bedroom hotel will have a bar, restaurant, lounge area and gym, and is primarily intended for crew who frequently fly in and out of the airport, as well as engineers and other employees of the numerous resident aerospace businesses based at the airport.

Robert Walters, commercial director at London Biggin Hill Airport, says: “We are delighted to see the first spade in the ground for our new hotel, The Landing. This development will play an important role within the airport’s ecosystem and is a fantastic addition to the many facilities and services we already offer. Moreover, the hotel will support the community by providing further employment and training opportunities, as well as attracting new business investment to the region.”

The Landing is due to open in 2022.
