BASEL / April 27, 2021 — Jet Aviation earned top ratings in the AIN FBO (Americas) and Pro Pilot PRASE 2021 surveys released this month, with Palm Beach placing in the Top 5%, Dubai in the Best Middle East and African category, and Jet Aviation ranking in the class of Best Small FBO Chains. The company’s facilities in Teterboro, Houston, Dallas, Bozeman, Boston-Bedford and Dulles Washington also received top customer ratings. Additionally, Business Air News recognized Jet Aviation facilities in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Geneva as top ten highest scoring FBOs in Europe.
“Jet Aviation extends thanks and applause to our teams of global handling professionals who went above and beyond to ensure the highest service levels, despite tackling Covid-19 on the frontline,” said John Langevin, Jet Aviation’s vice president of FBO operations for North America. “The achievements of our FBO colleagues this past year are nothing short of remarkable.”
“From customer recognition and industry awards to service expansions and innovation, they have earned this latest acknowledgment through their unwavering customer focus and attention to detail,” said Langevin. “They truly enable global flight with passion — and I couldn’t be prouder of them.”
Nuno Da Silva, general manager of Jet Aviation’s Palm Beach facility — which ranked in the top 5% of all U.S. FBOs — added, “On behalf of the team, I’d like to thank all of our customers for their ongoing trust and support. We strive to deliver a recognizable, elevated customer service offering and are delighted to see our personalized premium service is appreciated. It’s what our customers expect, and it’s who we are.”
Jet Aviation Palm Beach began its award-winning operation in 1985 with just two hangars. Following the opening of its new state-of-the-art FBO and hangar facility extension launched last year, the company now operates five hangars. Designed to accommodate newer generation, large-body aircraft and demonstrating the company’s commitment to sustainability, the latest extension features low-flow water fixtures, a white roof and heat-reducing tarmac as well as local drought-resistant plants.
In Europe, Business Air News (BAN) forewent its annual FBO survey in favor of interviewing a selection of top-ten highest scoring facilities across the region earlier this year, including Jet Aviation’s FBO operations in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Geneva.
“With the increasing effects of the COVID pandemic, our focus shifted rapidly to creating an even safer and more secure handling environment for our clients, to which our teams of professionals proved particularly agile,” said Niemoller.
Amsterdam and Rotterdam have been part of the Jet Aviation family since the company expanded to The Netherlands in October 2018. Both facilities became IS-BAH Stage-I certified in January 2020. As the newest addition to the Jet Aviation network, acquired in September 2020, the Jet Aviation facility in Bozeman, Montana, is expected to achieve IS-BAH Standard registration later this year. The company’s FBOs in Boston-Bedford, Dallas, Dubai, Dulles Washington, Geneva, Houston, Palm Beach and Teterboro are all IS-BAH Stage II certified.
Jet Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) with 4,000 employees and nearly 50 locations worldwide. Jet Aviation’s offerings include aircraft management, aircraft sales, charter, completions, defence, FBO, maintenance and staffing.
