LAS VEGAS / October 12, 2025 — Jet Aviation celebrates the 40th anniversary of its FBO at Palm Beach International Airport. The facility is one of 11 Jet Aviation FBOs in the US, and part of a network of some 30 worldwide.
The FBO was established in 1985 with the acquisition of an FBO and maintenance operation facility in Palm Beach, Florida. The facility began its operations with two hangars and a dedicated FBO terminal. Within its first year of opening, it placed first in the ‘Most Improved’ category in a leading aviation poll.
“Over the past four decades, our Palm Beach facility has been a cornerstone in our US network, supporting our commitment to being where our customers need us to be,” says David Best, senior vice president regional operations Americas. “As one of the busiest business aviation airports in the US, Palm Beach is key to providing our customers with a seamless service across the region and beyond, and we are very proud of the legacy we have built here. I would like to thank our customers and partners for continuing to trust us as their partner of choice over these past 40 years. We remain committed to carrying our legacy forward as we enter this new decade and chapter in Palm Beach.”
The FBO and team have regularly been recognized in a number of industry surveys. Most recently, the FBO achieved fifth place in AIN’s Annual FBO Survey’s Top Rated FBOs in The Americas (By Overall Average) rankings, with an overall average score of 4.75 (out of possible 5). The award-winning team also placed in the top categories for Line Service and Pilot Amenities.
“Our teams are dedicated to providing an effortless FBO experience from touch down to take off, and this commitment and passion to operational excellence has laid the foundation of our success,” says Matt Feinstein, vice president FBO operations, EHS & security in the Americas. “Together, they continue to deliver seamless experiences and drive service and safety excellence with their expertise, passion and personalized care. It is an honor to have this recognized across the industry and by our customers.”
Today, the Palm Beach FBO operates six hangars, including its newest FBO hangar and complex situated alongside a Gulfstream maintenance facility, which features a 42,000 square foot hangar and 200,000 square feet of shared tarmac space. Palm Beach is home to some 70 employees, across the company’s FBO and centralized business hub. Together, these sites support aircraft management, charter, maintenance and ground handling services, serving as a hub for both domestic and international customers.
