We are looking for a driven, energetic individual to take this role and help drive the aviation team forwards.

Overall Objective of Role:
The Senior Aviation Account Executive would be responsible for enhancing ITIC’s existing relationships with insurance brokers assureds and potential assureds, and for the development of relationships with new industry contacts and distribution channels.

Main Responsibilities:
The core aspects of this varied role focus on underwriting, client relationship management and sales.
• Underwriting: Manage accounts, provide new business and renewal quotes.
• Customer Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of ITIC’s customer base in general aviation and aircraft leasing.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, insurance brokers, industry contacts and legal advisors.
• Representation: Represent ITIC at industry events worldwide, confidently network with peers.
• Marketing Support: Help create marketing, loss prevention and guidance materials.
• Claims Handling: Develop efficient, cost-effective claims handling services.
• Sales Development: Identify and develop new sales leads through various channels.
• Sales Pipeline: Maintain a robust sales pipeline for new business opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work with the marketing team on targeted sales campaigns.
• Performance: Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Job Specification
• Experience: 5+ years in the aviation sector, or in professional indemnity/aviation insurance underwriting or broking with a strong interest in aviation.
• Sales: Proven track record in sales, including finding and developing new leads.
• Travel: Willingness to travel for overseas conferences and events.
• Public Speaking & Networking: Good skills in these areas, with confidence when representing the company at events.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail.
• Relationship Building: Ability to develop good working relationships at all levels.
• Negotiation: Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Qualifications: CII and/or ACA Broker qualifications are desirable.
