The Isle of Man Aircraft Registry aims to provide flexibility within an ICAO framework and offers flexible maintenance solutions for operators. IOMAR automatically and unilaterally accept all EASA, UK or FAR Part 145 maintenance organisations & EASA or UK Part M Subpart F or Part CAO. Specific IOMAR Maintenance Organisation Approvals are not needed.

As an international registry, the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry provides flexibility for owners to register aircraft of varying Type Certificates. We directly accept Type Certificates issued by: UK; EASA (Europe); FAA (USA); TCCA (Canada); ANAC (Brazil) subject to the aircraft type design holding an issued TC from either EASA/FAA/TCCA.

The Isle of Man Aircraft Registry aims to provide flexibility within an ICAO framework by offering flexible Flight Crew & AME licensing requirements. We validate Flight Crew and AME licences issued by appropriate ICAO contracting states. The validation allows the holder to exercise the privileges of their licence with regard to M Reg aircraft without the need for aircraft specific certificates of validation.
