As part of your consistent social video strategy, you’ll want to be posting many kinds of content, including thought leadership.
So what exactly is this term that’s bandied about on LinkedIn so much?
- It’s a demonstration that you are understanding and actively learning about how your industry is changing, and how that can benefit your customers. Then helping them understand the implications of the changes.
🎬 Of course I’d recommend doing that with video. The trouble is that if you’re not careful, that can come across as drier than a mouthful of crackers in the Sahara Desert.
So context can really help. And – as promised – if you’re heading to a show (eg MEBAA) over the next few weeks you’ve got the perfect opportunity to create great visual content.
- Position yourself either near an aircraft making sure you’ve got some great angles – either the nose or tail can work well
- Ensure you’ve missed out on ‘clutter’ in your shots, try to get there early
- Or, you can be strategic and get the show branding in your shots – or a client or prospect’s booth in the background if you can’t interview them directly
- Lastly make time to get as much show footage as you can to use later on in your videos
- Of course, if you don’t have a great backdrop- you can use lots of helpful illustrative imagery to spice up your shots.
We’ll be showing you how to do that from next week onwards.
So stay tuned for that – and in the meantime enjoy this colourful 60-second interview with the CEO of Luxaviation UK’s charismatic CEO, George Galanopolous.
Remember the key is to think visually when you’re looking to create impactful video content, no matter what it is. If you’re lucky enough to be anywhere near an aircraft in the next few weeks, don’t waste the opportunity!
Looking forward to sharing more details next week,
Best,
[Your Name]
Liz
