Delivering care when it matters most – last week, our Aircraft Management & Charter team were approached with a deeply sensitive request: to support the medical repatriation of a stretcher patient from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to Reno, Nevada in the United States.
What followed was a true demonstration of agility, experience and partnership working at its best.
After presenting several medically suitable options, the team – led by Emma Suddaby-Brown and Scott Sygrove – engaged Jetflite and secured a Falcon 7X for the mission.
From that moment, a complex, multi-day planning process began coordinating medical specialists, arranging two sets of crew, gathering clinical information, monitoring regional considerations/political unrests, and keeping the family closely informed at every stage.

After a week of meticulous coordination across multiple time zones, the Falcon 7X took off from Helsinki on 11 November, marking the start of an exceptional journey—more than 20 hours from hospital bed to hospital bed.
Jetflite were exceptional partners throughout, and the positive feedback received from the family reflects the professionalism and compassion of everyone involved.
For our Charter team, this mission meant more than logistics. It was an opportunity to provide genuine support at a moment of vulnerability – a reminder of the purpose behind what we do every day.
As Emma Suddaby-Brown reflected “Coordinating this mission was incredibly rewarding for all of us. When a family is relying on you during such a vulnerable moment, every detail matters. Working so closely with Jetflite and seeing the patient safely reunited with their loved ones was a reminder of the positive impact we can have beyond the day-to-day challenges of charter work.”
Scott Sygrove commented “This task was so much more than a job, it was an opportunity to make a difference. A true example of how private aviation is a benefit to so many”
We are proud of Emma, Scott, and the Jetflite team for delivering such an outstanding outcome.
