The Geneva office of leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, has seen incredible growth in the first six months of the year, with private jet flights up 78% on the same period last year.
Justin Lancaster, ACS’s Group Commercial Director, commented: “With the Swiss private jet market flat, we decided on a push for market share. To do this, we needed to take our service levels to new heights, so we invested in the team and our processes – bringing in experienced personnel, some of whom speak languages that we didn’t have before. Our new management team in Geneva has been instrumental in formulating this plan and delivering these results.
“We have almost doubled the team size since the beginning of last year, and that is now paying dividends, as this is the office’s best return in the first six months of a year since opening its doors 10 years ago. The fact that the Swiss, and wider European, markets have seen little to no growth when compared to the first six months of last year, really puts into perspective the 78% increase that the Geneva team has seen.”
Arthur Guibert, ACS Switzerland’s CEO, added: “The results are testament to the amazing group we have here, with everyone contributing to our growth. I think that the investment in our team and our unique personal service has created the perfect blend, and we’re finding that clients really appreciate access to the ACS global network when they are abroad. We will be looking to expand the group further over the coming months, in order to build on the success that I am confident will continue going forward.”
