The Continued Evolution of Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI)
CHICAGO, May 27, 2024 – JSSI, the largest independent provider of maintenance support and financial services to the business aviation industry, is celebrating its 35 anniversary. Through continuous innovation and M&A activity, the organization has evolved from its original focus on engine programs into a comprehensive support ecosystem throughout the aircraft ownership lifecycle: from pre-acquisition guidance and financing solutions; to maintenance programs and tracking software; to parts, engine leasing, and end-of-life solutions.
Over the last 10 years, JSSI has launched and acquired businesses that are synergistic to its core maintenance support services. At EBACE, the company is celebrating the evolution into these new business lines over time:
JSSI has infused all offerings with its original core mission and values of customer-centricity and industry-leading product evolution. This ecosystem is now bound together by a data intelligence, next generation technology, and software – benefiting both clients and the broader industry. This translates into an elevated consultative approach for all business development efforts, which has seen strong growth both globally and in the European market over the last 5 years.
“Service evolution through technology has changed the way our clients interact with us,” says Ben Hockenberg, JSSI’s chief operating officer. “The expectations from owners and operators are changing with regards to software and online tools, and we believe in creating a connected experience across products and services online.”
Today, JSSI supports over 30% of the global business jet fleet, through maintenance programs, parts procurement, and tracking software. Traxxall recently crossed the 4,000 aircraft mark, supporting over 17,000 users globally – many of which enjoy the benefits of having one provider for both the financial maintenance program and tracking solution. At NBAA last year, the company launched the first online parts store of its kind, PartsHub – opening free access to JSSI’s complete inventory, parts data, and pricing transparency to hundreds of users globally. The JSSI team at EBACE this year is ready to demo PartsHub live at the show.
JSSI officially entered the European market in 2008, as the company opened the doors to its EMEA headquarters at the Farnborough airport. Today, JSSI has expanded its regional presence to France, Monaco, Spain, Luxemburg, Austria, Turkey, South Africa, and Dubai, amongst others. Over the last year, JSSI’s hourly cost maintenance business grew over 10% in Europe, and the Parts & Leasing division opened new warehouse locations and consignment programs in the region.
“It’s great to see owners and operators globally understand and adopt our maintenance programs and solutions. I’m proud of the local service organization we’ve built in Europe and excited for the opportunities ahead,” said Fabrice Roger, senior vice president of business development, EMEA & APAC.
Neil Book, chairman and CEO, emphasizes that the people in the organization drive the success story. “Our greatest assets walk through the front door every day. We’ve been able to attract extraordinary talent from both inside and outside the industry, enabling us to deliver superior results across every facet of the business.”
JSSI will attend the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, May 28-30, 2024. Visit Booth #A89 to learn more about their full suite of products and services.
