It still appears to be a common misconception worth addressing.

A Business Aviation aircraft does not have to be imported to the Isle of Man for tax purposes, for it then to be registered with the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry.

They are two entirely different subjects.

Many ‘M’ Reg aircraft have not been imported to the Isle of Man at all.
