As Europe’s leading show focused on the business aviation industry, EBACE presents a significant platform for Honeywell to demonstrate its continued commitment to business aviation operators in the EMEA region. The show presents a fantastic opportunity to engage with key business leaders, media, channel partners, customers and industry peers. At this year’s show, three of Honeywell’s main focuses will be cockpit upgrades, mandates, and connectivity and services:

  • The ADS-B deadline is looming over Europe, and business aircraft owners must act now to ensure they are compliant in time, particularly as product availability and service center capacity becomes increasingly scarce as we approach the FAA and EASA deadlines. Honeywell has the products to ensure business aircraft are compliant before the deadline, such as the Primus Epic ADS-B transponder.
  • Honeywell will also be highlighting the Connected Aircraft and the various services that support it at the show. Honeywell has brought in-flight Wi-Fi to business aviation aircraft to ensure passengers are staying connected and productive throughout their flight, while providing operators with real-time information that helps them effectively manage their fleet and improve flight operations. Honeywell’s range of satcom solutions, from JetWave and Aspire to BendixKing’s AeroWave, are able to keep all aircraft types and sizes connected around the globe. Through its range of GoDirect services, Honeywell is also redefining the flying experience to help operators save on costs, reduce downtime and ensure more comfortable, safe and less disruptive flights. In addition to its connected suite of services, Honeywell’s Maintenance Service Plan offerings help fixed and rotary wing aircraft operators handle unforeseen maintenance issues and keep their aircraft in service.
  • Honeywell also offers a wide range of cockpit upgrades to help business aviation operators transform their current fleet, ensuring safe and efficient flights. With the DU-875 display upgrade for Primus Elite, operators can replace cathode ray tubes with modern liquid crystal displays. This easy-to-install, lightweight upgrade provides pilots a brighter, clearer high resolution screens and access to the latest cockpit technology, while lowering the cost of operation.

Additionally, Honeywell will highlight its solutions for urban air mobility (UAM). As an industry leader with a legacy of creating safe and reliable solutions for almost every aerospace application, Honeywell offers scalable offerings – from avionics and connectivity technologies to propulsion –  to meet the current and future needs of UAM developers and companies. Most recently, Honeywell’s work with companies like Pipistrel, a well-known aircraft manufacturer, and Volocopter, a German urban air taxi manufacturer, highlight its willingness to work with other leaders in the space to develop UAM technologies. Honeywell is also well-positioned to help companies of all phases navigate the regulation and certification process of UAM, drawing from decades of experience working with the EASA, FAA and other international government agencies.
