ABACE, Shanghai: ExecuJet, part of the Luxaviation Group (ABACE booth number H1122), is celebrating becoming the first operator in Australia to achieve the International Standard for Business Aviation Handling (IS-BAH) Stage I accreditation for both its Sydney and Melbourne FBOs.

The announcement comes a year after the launch of ExecuJet’s state-of-the-art Sydney FBO at Sydney Airport, which comprises a VIP guest lounge, private apron and aircraft hangar. ExecuJet’s Melbourne FBO at Essendon Airport boasts a dedicated lounge and full support services, ensuring a seamless and discreet process for passengers just ten kilometres from the city of Melbourne.

Ettore Poggi, Group FBO Director, Luxaviation Group, says: “Being the first in Australia to achieve the IS-BAH Stage I accreditation is a significant achievement, and testament to months of hard work by Gary Forster, our Regional FBO Manager, and his teams in Sydney and Melbourne.

“Across the Luxaviation Group, we pride ourselves on leading the field for service excellence. With the addition of the Sydney and Melbourne facilities, nine of ExecuJet’s network of 25 FBOs have now been accredited by IS-BAH, with our FBOs in Berlin, Lanseria and Zürich further progressing to Stage II accreditation. We are proud to support our customers with such valuable, industry-recognised best practice wherever they are based across the globe.”

Darren McGoldrick, Vice President of ExecuJet Asia-Pacific, adds: “Our Sydney and Melbourne FBOs maintain exceptional operating procedures and rigorous safety standards across the board, and we are delighted this has been recognised by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). We look forward to further demonstrating our class-leading capabilities to our customers in Australia in the future.”

IS-BAH is a joint programme between IBAC and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA).
